Luckily there were 6 of us so we could eat a good variety of food...
Started with the hot and pepper soup which was spicey with a full taste...not burning hot....just tasty spicey!
Then we had green beans with pork....our least favourite because it was a bit dry...
The aubergine with garlic and chilli was very good...a little spicey and well cooked, the sizzling prawns were wonderful but be careful when they start to sizzle as the chilli can get in your throat and eyes!
We had the chicken with cashews which was tender and had lots of flavour and texture, BUT the BEST was the fried beef with kumquats....absolutely yummy and we were fighting over the last few pieces!
To finish had the "must have" toffee apples and bananas....and tea to help it all go down!
Total bill for 6 with beer(actually Guiness... Yes that was a little weird!) was 1800
We all thought pretty good value for ga fun evening, good food and genial restaurant!
