The lobby lounge in Kerry Hotel was not as busy and noisy as those in other hotels on Saturday. We were assigned to a window-side table with garden view.We ordered the Zesta Afternoon Tea set for two persons. Since we have HSBC credit card, we could get 15% off for this afternoon tea set. And I also followed Kerry Hotel’s Instagram to get free smoothies. ✌🏻The presentation looked good! The Tea Smoked Quail Egg with crisp Brioche, Caviar: they were covered by a glass bell jar with smoke inside! W

The Tea Smoked Quail Egg with crisp Brioche, Caviar: they were covered by a glass bell jar with smoke inside! When the waitress took away the bell jar, we could smell the smoke. The caviar, after smoked, tasted smoky and nice!

Earl Grey Tea Cured Ocean Trout with citrus honey & flowers: it was so fishy and chewy. Obviously the trout was not fresh.
Marinated Heirloom Tomato with goat cheese, tomato black tea gelee: the tomato tasted normal while the goat cheese was quite strong. Black tea gelee did not give a significant taste.
Smoked Duck with peach custard and pistachio crumble: this savoury tasted really outstanding! The custard texture was actually like creme brûlée .

Scones: they were too dense and not as fluffy as expected. The cream was very dense - not clotted cream at all.
White Chocolate and Green Tea Yuzu Curd: it tasted quite nice! The yuzu curd was very refreshing!

Roasted Oolong Tea puff with baked pear oatmeal: this velvet red ball looked pretty. The inside looked nice and tasted good!
Black Tea Religieuse 70% Chocolate whipped ganache: After a very sweet puff, this one could help balance a bit.
Earl Grey and Komikan mini Tart with light chestnut cream: it tasted very rich but delicious!

For drinks, we ordered camomile tea (which was inclusive in the tea set) and received free smoothies. We thought the smoothies would be healthy and natural, but it actually tasted like fruit punch.
