Having a day off by myself on a weekday, decided to come here for lunch as I have always wanted to try it since it opened.Beautiful casual decor, it was a bit like Simply Life minus the insane queue of people. Service was attentive and quick. Ordered a pan fried salmon with hollandaise sauce, roasted potatoes and French beans. This was fantastic. Just the right portion. Salmon was perfectly cooked. Skin was crispy. Hollandaise was rich though not enough lemon tang. Roasted potatoes were soft with a lovely crispy skin. French beans were crispy and lightly seasoned. Addition of tomatoes gave it freshness.
Finished it off with an ice expresso with chocolate. This was pretty good coffee. Nice and strong without being overly bitter. Chocolate wasn't very chocolaty. But not bad.
Will be back to try the pastries.
