I am a foreigner not that into traditional type(lotus seed..etc.) of mooncakes. When mid-autumn festival comes and I feel a bit forced to (😅) share mooncakes with friends as gifts, I love to try brand new tastes.So, I finally found this Valérie mooncake is perfect to me. So, I finally found this Valérie mooncake is perfect to me. Matcha (greentea) things are always being my favorite, and since last year Valérie has made one. The mooncake has a very rich, bitterSWEET, but not greasy flavor with brownie-like texture. Yeah, it is more like mooncakeshaped matcha brownie, I would say. (which will be quite satisfying news to other foreigners!)
I bought it from pop-up store at causeway place, 4 pieces in the mini box at 148 HKD. I'm not sure if they still take order though, should you have any interest, contact online or by phone. Recommend it rather than big cake franchises..!
