After a very rainy cold xmas, went out on a pretty sunny lunch hour and saw this warm bakery opening. So I dun mind a bit queueing to support new shop opening under covid. 3 OLs in front & behind me were all persuaded by the promoter to try "signature" Soda Bread . We would like to order by slice but they only sold in loaf.It's ok. When I saw the portion of loaf , huge and bargain right? Happily went home to serve warm, ummm....cakery texture, then soda lumps and salty flour mixture as if raw...
Happily went home to serve warm, ummm....cakery texture, then soda lumps and salty flour mixture as if raw...I couldn't realize it and decided to let the loaf stay another 3 days in kitchen , wishing miracle would happen as $88 bread should as least strike normal balance of flavor and be edible within 3 days...Nope ,everyday the soda smell amplified and my wish was too much . Were I just unlucky ?
题外话/补充资料:
Tried croissant and prune tart.
