My wife suggested to have buffet tonight and we went to JK Brother’s. It was located at Bowa House, couple of minutes walk from Jordan MTR. They have 4 price range for their buffet, only difference is the quality of beef chosen. Besides that, they have few choices for their soup base, from non spicy to spicy. We chose spicy seafood soup base, and it was very flavourful and slightly spicy. There were many ingredients in it such as prawns, musssels, scallops and vegetables etc. They were fresh and juicy.
Fried oysters and crab meat were crispy and chewy and baked oysters were cheesy and flavourful.
Abalone were huge in size, considering that it was free flow. It was very chewy and juicy.
There were an assortment of sashimi, and they were sweet in taste and fresh. The wasabi provided helped to bring out the freshness.
Sliced thin beef were tender and thin in texture, very chewy and juicy as it absorbs the essence of the soup base.
Crab meat were soft and smooth, clams were chewy and fish cake were chewy and soft too.
Coconut with aloe vera was sweet and refreshing, with the aloe vera very chewy.
Matcha with red beans ice cream were sweet and have strong matcha taste.
