When I called to book a table for 7, the lady said I need to return the table by 8.30pm. So I switched my booking to 6.30pm hoping to enjoy a 2 hr meal on a Friday evening. When I turned up, the gent at the reception said I need to leave by 8. I told him that I wasn't informed, he just gave me a blank face with a 'take it or leave it' attitude.So we went ahead to order. Main course was served before we even finished our starters which was shocking for any slightly above average restaurant. Ta

Table wasn't cleared when we finished the dishes but the place was fully staffed as I had to listen to them chatting away at the service area which was disturbing as they were quite loud.
Food was good as expected and thankfully we weren't kicked out at 8pm as there were quite a few empty tables.
Overall service has deteriorated which i notice from other reviews too. When I was trying to catch the server's attention, this lady whom I think is more junior just gave me a blank look twice until I waved at her so noticeably that she couldn't ignore me.
Would be good if they can bring back the corn muffins from the good old days.
