We came to this restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Service here needs major major work. Firstly, food took forever to get here. I ordered a sushi which took around 1.5 hours to reach me (I ordered at around 7:45pm, it got to me around 9:10pm). This was after issuing two chasers to the server. Secondly, when it came to serving the cake, the server neglected to provide us with any plates or cutlery (only provided upon request). The cake was obviously melted as well, which was extremely
Firstly, food took forever to get here. I ordered a sushi which took around 1.5 hours to reach me (I ordered at around 7:45pm, it got to me around 9:10pm). This was after issuing two chasers to the server.
Secondly, when it came to serving the cake, the server neglected to provide us with any plates or cutlery (only provided upon request). The cake was obviously melted as well, which was extremely disappointing. I expected a bit more given that they charged us a HK$100 cake cutting fee. Not to mention I had to ask our server twice before they even served our cake.
Thirdly, the servers served us the wrong food twice. Whilst ordinarily this wouldn’t be an issue, given the pandemic, this is worrying for other diners as their food has been exposed to strangers with their face masks off. Given how important it is for restaurants to keep up the covid prevention practices to remain open, I would have expected the servers to be more vigilant than usual.
Although the food was decent, the problematic service had made the dining experience extremely frustrating. Will not recommend and will not be coming back.
It’s very unfortunate as the food wasn’t bad, hope the restaurant can take these comments seriously and make some substantial improvements.
