We had tried some of the other establishments along this street - such as the Queen Vic -and spotted the set lunch board from outside.We came in, there were no customers so we chose to sit on the sofa seats. We were promptly told to vacate and to sit on a small table even though we were having lunch, not merely a drink. We said that we wouldn't be long with our original choice of table - one guy there then said "would 30 mins be okay" in a sarcastic tone. I just laughed and replied that I'd dou
We came in, there were no customers so we chose to sit on the sofa seats. We were promptly told to vacate and to sit on a small table even though we were having lunch, not merely a drink. We said that we wouldn't be long with our original choice of table - one guy there then said "would 30 mins be okay" in a sarcastic tone. I just laughed and replied that I'd doubt the food would be served within 10 minutes. They insisted we had to sit at the small table so we left.
Pretty poor way to treat paying customers, to be honest.
