I recently visited Shari Shari Kakigori House in Hong Kong which serves delicious Japanese known as kakigori. On arriving, I saw a long line outside the shop indicating its popularity, but I was willing to wait for one of their refreshing treats on this hot summer day. When I finally got my matcha flavored kakigori, I really hoped it would live up to my expectations. I need not have worried - it did not fail to delight! The was absolutely delicious, not overly sweet, with just the right amount of flavor from the matcha. I think it comes with some mochi inside too! The soft and fluffy shaved ice had the perfect texture and consistency. I loved sitting inside the shop while enjoying my treat, making it a great place to hang out with friends on a summer day. Shari Shari provides the perfect ambiance and refreshing treats for beating the Hong Kong heat. I will definitely be back to try other unique flavors and spend more afternoons enjoying kakigori with my friends!
