After walking for 9 hours at Art Basel, I declared I was starving and needed to eat all you can eat anything! It was too hot for hotpot so we chose Korean BBQ. And after 9 pm, it's even cheaper! Usually we go to Hon Wo but we found this place was newly opened. I remember trying this place in Jordan and it was so dirty, even the bowls were oily. But from the one review, it said it was clean since it was new. So we gave it a try.After 9, they have a price of $148. Cheaper than prime time which is

Yes, the place is clean. Everything was nicely put together. All food was labeled in Chinese and English. And since it was a buffet, they separated the raw food from the cooked food. Raw food included all sorts of beef, chicken, pork, lamb and squid. There were also eggplant and mushrooms for grilling. Cooked food had everything from fried fish cakes to vegetables to salad. There is all you can drink drinks but you pay extra for soda and beer. They even had sushi rolls, soup and rice. Then after eating all that, there's Chinese dessert and ice cream.
I was going to take more photos but the food was so unappetizing, I couldn't be bothered. All the meat tasted the same. Even the curry ones. They had a braised ox tail that it was soft but not fall off the bone soft and it was also flavorless. Spicy cucumber wasn't spicy. And if you thought how can watermelon go wrong..it tasted like it was doused in sugar. There was no watermelon flavor. Boyfriend had the sweet potato dessert soup and he declared it bad that he makes a better one than this.
They didn't refill anything so I'm unsure what the people coming in for the after 11 deal would be eating.
I should also note, the air conditioning was so strong, I was shivering the entire time. I even wrapped myself with a big silk scarf, but it was useless.
Yeah, we should have stuck with Hon Wo. Will not return.
