I've always wanted to try N1 Coffee but somehow I tend to forget about. I've heard several positive comments about it and it was on my list of coffee shops to pay a visit. As I was waiting to have dinner with friends, I dropped by here for a cup of coffee and cake.Located right behind K11 in Tsim Sha Tsui, it's a narrow cafe. Menu is in English and there is no 10% service charge. There are a few tables but it's fairly cramped. I really didn't understand the merry-go-round horse as a decoration.

I really didn't understand the merry-go-round horse as a decoration. You pay and order at the cashier where they'll give you a number to place at your table and they'll bring the food to you.
I had a carrot cake ($40). This was ok. Not too sweet and fairly moist. The cream cheese frosting was soft and had that slight tang that can only be found in cream cheese.
Had a latte ($35) as my coffee of choice. Latte art was fine. The coffee smelled lovely. Rich and robust. It went down smooth with no bitter after taste. There was a nice milk to espresso ratio.
Music selection here was mostly retro 80s music. I love a little George Michael but I've never had it in a coffee shop in Hong Kong before. Coffee was good and decent. Place was quiet enough so I'd be back if I wanted a quiet place in Tsim Sha Tsui.
