Sound not too bad, or? But I was very disappointed by the food.
The Black truffle prawn toast was completely deep-fried and totally greasy. Inside of the toast was some paste, it could be prawn and truffle, but to be honest I couldn't taste it because of all the grease. In fact, it could be everything... It should be so easy to make a fresh and light nice dish out of the dish name... maybe my expectation was just too high...
The spicy lamb kebab was ok, but really nothing special and overpriced. It was a kind of food which you will remember exactly a half day. Have a look at the picture and you will understand....
The beer was cold and delicious...
Service was not bad, but really nothing special. just responsible for bringing the food and the bill. They did not ask me how is my food. It was around 10.00pm - not too busy at this time.
It was my first time to SML and through all the noisy in different medias I was very excited to visit SML, the decor in the restaurant looks very nice, but my expectations couldn't fulfilled.
Total damage: $278.00 (without beer $168,30)
For a single person and for bad/untasty food, far too much. For 168 you can already get a nice burger in the 5 star hotels...
Sorry SML I do not see reasons to come back, too many places to go in HK...
