saw many posts about this soup place and decided to come and support the shop but turned out to be an unpleasant experience; unfortunately everything was wrong from the moment i stepped in until i got out1. they suggested customers to pay with either octopus or payme but the octopus machine wasn't working that day and interestingly there is no cellphone reception inside the shop so i couldn't get payme to work; i walked out to get reception and quickly jumped back in to pay but then the payme qr
1. they suggested customers to pay with either octopus or payme but the octopus machine wasn't working that day and interestingly there is no cellphone reception inside the shop so i couldn't get payme to work; i walked out to get reception and quickly jumped back in to pay but then the payme qr code didn't work, meanwhile the staff was still trying to get the octopus machine to work but no luck at all so i asked if i could pay with cash; thank goodness i could but they gave me LOTS of coins for change
2. the soup was alright and i like how they've added milk into it but the beef brisket rice was rather bland and the beef brisket was way overcooked which took lots of effort to chew them which brings me to the last point...
3. saw 2 baby cockroaches while i was eating which i had to get rid of them with a napkin and rushed to finish my meal but those unchewbale brisket took me forever and the 'highlight' of the meal - the mother cockroach was out looking for the 2 babies towards the end and i had to dash away from the shop 😭
