The occasion that brought me to visit ÉPURE was to spend my dining coupons at Harbour City 😆 so even after I’ve used -$500 coupons, this meal was still $518 each for lunch. A fair price for my first French fine dining experience! Presenting the pictures in reverse order of the meal - because it’s kinda the order of my favourites too 😅 their soufflé is a must order - super soft inside and crunchy on the outside! It was paired with hazelnut ice cream which felt like you were having Nutella with it
Another favourite of mine was actually their mushroom soup and their black pepper croissant! Would not have thought to order mushroom soup as one of the two starters as other options of scallop / chicken ravioli sounded more attractive - but if they added such a simple dish to the options, i thought it must be special? It definitely did not disappoint and was even better than their chicken ravioli. Had a caramel aftertaste to the soup which was so perfect paired with their bread.
Their main course of French steak was also very tender cooked at medium rare. I just wished French fine dining wasn’t so “fine” so that I could have more 🤪
Overall, a good dining experience, but really only came because it was slightly discounted. Otherwise, it is very expensive for food that doesn’t particularly WOW you.
