Have heard of Andong chicken at causeway bay for quite a while but yesterday was my first visit there. Though we made a reservation in advance, there wasn't many people as we expected and could have probably just walked in.Spicy Andong Chicken ($148) Apparently ordering their signature Spicy Andong chicken is a must. Apparently ordering their signature Spicy Andong chicken is a must. Cooked with cucumber, carrots, potato and noodles, which were all imported from Korea, and adding in their homemade Korean hot and spicy sauce, it gave the Andong chicken a very rich and addicting flavour. It tasted like a korean-style chicken pot. The noodles underneath was a plus. It absorbed all the hot and spiciness from the sauce and chicken. No wonder it was that popular and every tables had ordered this!
Clams cooked in Jinro ($68) While Andong Chicken was their must-order dish, their starters were as impressive as their chicken. We have tried their Clams with Jinro and found it very tasty especially their soup. Only if they could use a larger and fresher clams, the dish would be perfect.
For drinks, we ordered Edison Dream (Apple) and K-Sake Rita (Grapefruit). Though they looked very appealing, the taste were just average.
