There are always long queues outside Yunan Guizhou & Sichuan during lunch hours. I have been there at least 10 times over these years. Their soup base is closer to the peanut butter style with SIchuan peppers. Very intense which makes it one of my favorite in Hong Kong. I'd say the quality sometimes fluctuates. There was a time that the soup was so watery and clean even I ordered super spicy. Sometimes it was too oily but most of the time it was alright. The toppings come in big portion. The por
I'd say the quality sometimes fluctuates. There was a time that the soup was so watery and clean even I ordered super spicy. Sometimes it was too oily but most of the time it was alright. The toppings come in big portion. The pork belly slices are the best, cooked nicely and soaked up all the sauce, not just blanched pork like the popular Mixian chains. I still visit again from time to time, just hope that they can maintain better quality standard.
