Loitering in Wanchai, near 188 we found two froyo stores opened next to each other on the very same street. Both of the stores did not give you any good impression with their decor, especially Yippee, whose name sounded exciting but the decor was a bit shaddy that you would not even dare to step in.On the other hand, Myogurt is comparatively more decent. On the other hand, Myogurt is comparatively more decent. There were picture frames hanging, glass container for toppings and a window with wide variety of toppings for selecion. However, the store's lighting was still a bit dark, making the store shady and dirty at the same time.
Once again the store weights froyo for price, which I considered as customer rip off strategy. Fortunately the staff would ask whether they need more froyo on your cup after their first sqeeze, but yet it is generally more expensive this way.
My cup of original flavour froyo was topped with frozen strawberries, mochi and waffle biscuits, I also added chocokate sauce on top from the saucing bar. There were in total three selections for sauces - strawberry, caramel and chocolate. The froyo was tasteless, the texture was like soft ice-cream but was not particularly smooth. The strawberries was frozen ones and thus felt particular icy when having them. The waffle biscult seemingly the store's product, was crunchy but slightly hard. The mochi tasted nice and was very soft and chewy.
I personally reckon the most important element in a cup of froyo was the froyo itself. I think Myogurt has failed to produce the original flavour froyo as it had no taste with it. I hope they could realise the fact and change their recipe accordingly.
