A funky authentic Indian style restaurant/bar next to PMQ (Central). The bar backdrop was gorgeous with a touch of Asian decor and a drink list from long-established cocktails to homemade ‘kala khatta’ that goes extremely well with the food menu.Started with the simplicity of good honest street food that was brought alive by the style of the presentation. Started with the simplicity of good honest street food that was brought alive by the style of the presentation. I have never seen a plate of ‘aloo tikki’ and ‘sev puri’ look so poetically crafted. Nevertheless, the taste was divine with the texture that melted so nicely in the mouth. We even demanded extra naan bread to soak-up the oozing gorgeousness sauce.
The main dishes presented were densely aromatic and rich in flavour, but refined enough not to spoil the palate for the next dish. The unforgettable fry fish (forgot the real name) was simplicity on the plate that fantastically savoured luxurious that came with a robust spice paste.
For the dessert - again, contemporary street comfort food transformed into sophistication with the palate to match.
Predominantly, each plate we ordered was consistent and with enough intricacy so that no one dish will overpower the other in taste.
