We tried the Harlan-less Harlan's when it first opened at The One a while ago. We started off with the appetizer buffet which was surprisingly good. Selection was okay but it was the quality of the food, that made it worthawhile. We particularly liked the parma ham, smoked salmon and prawns salad dishes. The lineup was so long that at one point, they went out of all clean dishes. Pressure was on for the dishwashers!
There were about 5-6 main courses to choose from. Although the dishes were not of fine dining quality, we did enjoy them very much. Of course, the fact that we had this great view of the TST area from the edge of our seats, certainly helped boost our appetite.
While we were enjoying our lunch, we spotted billionaire Mr. Lau (The One) attending a special party inside the private room. Knowing his demanding nature, if Harlan's could satisfy his taste bud, I guess it's good enough for me too!
