Overall, the budget we proposed meets our expectations and we all thought that this restaurant was worth going again.
For appetizers, we had eggplant mash with fried chips as toppings, which is an appetizer with great contrast in texture. The second appetizer was homemade smoked salmon with green salad. We all like the taste of the smoked salmon which is quite different from other restaurants as the smoked favour was pretty strong. The third appetizer was hamachi sashimi with black truffle oil. Beside using wasabi, black truffle oil can also lift up the favour of the sashimi.
For main course, we had grilled Kamei chicken rubbed in black truffle oil. The chicken was nicely grilled and was not over-cooked. The second main course was smoked pork chop stuffed with cheddar cheese and served with sweet potato mash.
At this moment, we were very full already but we still had Crème brûlée waiting for us as our dessert. This dessert definitely tasted awesome.
To conclude, we all agreed that the price was reasonable with such high food quality. We also had a great time and comfortable dining experience in this restaurant. We also appreciated that the chef came out and chatted with his diners about the taste of his dishes and also to share his passion about cooking and food with us.
