I am an expat living in Royal Peninsula and I walked pass this shop late boxing day afternoon. The young shop owners are very friendly and nice to talk with. They sold me on their German Bratwurst hog dog serve with their cafffe latte. My expectations were not that high because afterall, I'm in Hong Kong and not Germany or Poland, where I came from. My expectations were not that high because afterall, I'm in Hong Kong and not Germany or Poland, where I came from. The Dog was served nice and hot, the bratwurst is fresh and meaty. While it was not the best hot dog I had in my life, but it is probably the BEST I've tasted in Hong Kong, and the closest thing to having one back home. You just can't beat the bratwurst there!
The Coffee was the real surprise!! I've been to the namely the best coffee shops around Hong Kong such as Corridor and Creama, but this little shop gave me a really nice cup. Either my hangover was really bad from Xmas day or they are the real deal. Their beans are blended and roasted to perfection by a Italian specialist. No fancy latte art but just a fantastic cup of coffee. In fact, it tops one of the best cups I've had in Hong Kong and I ended up having another cup.
I later found out that the owners lived in Australia for more than 15 years which explains the European connection. I promised the sincere owners that I'll write a nice review for them and here it is.
Keep it up guys!! Hung Hom need more of these kind of shops..
