Surprisingly Bad Experience

I've walked by this restaurant many times and have always been attracted by the overall ambience of the place. I decided to give this place a try because I've heard some nice things about it and saw it as a nice and seemingly fun place to have a casual lunch. I've walked by this restaurant many times and have always been attracted by the overall ambience of the place. I decided to give this place a try because I've heard some nice things about it and saw it as a nice and seemingly fun place to have a casual lunch. While I appreciated how spacious the inside of the restaurant was, I was extremely disappointed by the food. I ordered a bowl of Bun Bo Hue and to my surprise, there was actually a lot of meat in the bowl which is obviously a plus since most places aren't as generous with the meat. The ratio of noodle to meat is perfect.... however, probably 70% of the beef was fat. I'm not a very picky eater and will eat almost everything even if it's fatty but this was just not tasty at all. The beef brisket had way too much fat and while I still took a bite to try, it felt almost gross and unsettling. The sliced rare beef was the same. It's okay to serve fatty beef but this one almost tasted like it had been there for a long time and had some strange aftertaste. The roasted shallots, beef balls and pork sausages were good though. 
While there were some good things about this noodle, I felt like the beef itself ruined the entire dish. It might just be what I had ordered but because the service was so great, I will likely try and go back some time to try some of their other dishes before I confidently say I won't go again.
