We had a Thursday night dinner at Eatalian, which seemed quite a small and cosy place when we entered, but actually goes quite deep into the      building. The restaurant had a nice laid-back atmosphere, with nice background jazz playing when we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful,          happy to explain menu items or recommend choices.

I had a smoked salmon and asparagus pizza, which apart from being served with a cake slicer(!) was pretty good - well-covered with toppings,        obviously freshly-made and just the right size. My partner had the Black Angus outside skirt, which was a good size, with crunchy salad, and           cooked just the way she likes it, slightly bloody.

We couldn't decide between the desserts, so we had both the toffee banana walnut pie  - yummy! - and a piece of Napoleon cake, artistically           served edge-on...

Nice to find a place which doesn't automatically add 10%, and we took a peek at the lunch menu which looked pretty good value, noted for a           future visit.
