This is probably my new favourite sushi place. The price is INCREDIBLE, $9 for all sushi (you get two unless specified), and all side dishes such as dumplings (3), fried scallops (2), udon in soup, meso soup, fried tofu, you name it! And what's even better? A plate of sashimi with 4 SLICES? $18!!! Compared to the standard $32 at genki sushi, it really is great! So I regularly come here afterschool with my friends as it is quite close to my school and since we're students we are sometimes on a tight budget, not to mention that sushi is a great afterschool snack as the portions are quite small. It usually isn't full so i've never waited for a table. The waiters are friendly and very helpful, as one time I went with some friends from the UK and the ordering sheets were only written in Chinese, and since I can only speak Chinese, I had a really rough time ordering, so the waitress helped and read out each thing for me. However, they now have English on the sheets. So I had the standard salmon sushi, which was good, there wasnt too much rice or too little salmon, which was good. The cheese and shrimp tempura roll is another of my favourites, however I would prefer if the cheese was still melted and not solidified when it arrives, it kind of ruins the appeal. The seared salmon sushi is always over cooked, i prefer if it is just slightly seared on the surface, not fully cooked -_- I do not recommend the fried scallops as it is tiny and not even scallop. You might as well buy a pack in the supermarket or kai bo and cook it at home, it'll taste the same. The udon is something that me and my friends always order. However the weird thing is that it seems to taste different every single time! It is however very filling and so we sometimes share it (it may look small, but its not really!) . The conveyer belt, although it moves is almost always empty, so don't bother waiting for something to come on there, you'll just see the same stuff going around and around.

The service is average, however last time I went they took so long to bring the udon, I think they might've forgotten? Not to mention after we paid the bill, they took 10 minutes to bring me $1 change. Made me late for a lesson, which was quite annoying

The manager there is always very nice. One time he accidentally got me something which I didn't order and he ended up giving it to me for free. Then he came back with some red bean paste glutinous balls as a complimentary dessert for me and my friends which was very sweet of him

Overall it is a great place to go as it is cheap, filling and yummy. Service can be average but you pay for what you get!
oh and there is 10% service charge.
