Eggettes. A popular Hong Kong street food is defintely not new. And Mammy Pancake is defintetly not new. This popular shop has been seving eggettes for the past few years, with their original shop in Hung Hum. I don't eat eggettes by myself as it's way too much for just me. Boyfriend saw they had a limited time flavor of sweet potato which stopped him in his tracks and we shared this together. Cost? $22.
We waited 10 minutes as they were very busy. There was quite a crowd waiting.
The eggette was packed with sweet potato. The outside was crispy and the inside was still cakey. Just the way I like it. However, boyfriend was thoroughly disappointed. But as this is my review, I liked it. It wasn't too sweet. It was soft and cake-like.
Would only be back if I can share with someone because eggettes are only good warm and not good reheated.
