Imagine Taiwan is right in Hong Kong. What would it be like? Today, this restaurant - Old Street - is exactly that. We tried some of the most authentic Taiwanese food, and here’s a brief review. Taiwanese Beef Noodles - I absolutely love this. Whenever I go to a Taiwanese restaurant, I always order this. Braised pork belly rice - this is another favorite dish of mine. I love how the braised pork taste like. I’m not sure how to describe its taste, but it definitely tastes like home.

Taiwanese preserved egg with tofu - it’s cold dish is amazing. If you never tried this dish, you have to. The preserved egg complements the tofu very well.

Taiwanese fried mixed platter - this has the best of the fried street food you can have in Taiwan. Squids ball, fried chicken and fried tofu all in one plant. It’s a happy meal what can I say.

Braised pork with lettuce - this is basically the braised pork you found in the braised pork rice, but with the vegetable. I like how the braised pork makes the veggie taste so much better. If your kids don’t like veggies, this is it.

I’ll give this restaurant a green light. It’s affordable, high quality and the staffs are very polite.
