I remember having a good lunch here with my sister before, so when I walked by and saw that they have a take away special for their chicken, I went out of my way to try it. I saw from their online menu that, if I were to order half a roast chicken for dine in, it'd be $128, so I think I got quite a good deal. Since I had to pre order an hour ahead, I called to make the order, then went to pick it up on my way home from work. The staff who took my order was friendly and made me feel like my business was appreciated. Also, I was treated politely when I went to pick up the chicken.
The chicken came in 2 tin foil bags, and the potatoes came in a box. I was a bit speechless when I saw how small the portion was. The chicken was quite tough; the juices from the chicken had dried up quite completely, and I think that the flavours were not strong enough. I would have preferred more herbs. Also, the chicken was quite greasy.
The potatoes soaked up some of the grease from the chicken, so they were super greasy, but also super flavorful because of the juices and herbs of the chicken.
Final verdict: I had expected more from this place. I wouldn't order the chicken again, but I would still dine at the restaurant.
