Dropped by this minute cafe as had time to kill. Always had an inclination towards the macabre - attracted by the "ghostly" appearance of the cakes and pastry against the classic fancy decor. Service was warm and staff was friendly and polite.As for food, coffee was passable. The most remarkable was the homemade cookie - soft and buttery and melted in my mouth. But the Napoleon - though pretty - was not satisfactory. Custard was too heavy and sweet - the pastry was hard and couldn't be cut with

All in all, nice place to spend an hour or two. But I'd think twice before trying out the "pretty pastry" again.
