Returned to try the Tom Yum Soup Noodle with the lunch set.Ordered the Sliced Beef Noodle, and added $10 to change to tom yum soup. The set includes a Thai style drink. Today's hot drink was watercress and honey.The tom yum soup was full of aromatic herbs like kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass, galangal and coriander leaves, and was bursting with flavour. The tom yum soup was full of aromatic herbs like kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass, galangal and coriander leaves, and was bursting with flavour. There was a generous bundle of Thai rice noodles which were cooked perfectly and had a good amount of chew. The soup was seasoned well, with a low level of spice, and I didn't have to add other condiments because it was well balanced as it was.
The watercress drink had a vegetable aroma, but was too sweet to drink hot.
The lunch set is good value. Even after changing to tom yum soup, the total was $53.
Also, the hygiene is excellent. The waitresses wipe the tables with disinfectant, provide eating utensils in hot water, and vigorously enforce temperature checks.
