Hana Sakazuki used to be one of the top teppanyaki restaurants (and still I think...) in Hong Kong. The restaurant is located inside China Tai Ping Tower (opposite Lee Garden 3). And honestly, no matter how many times you walk pass China Tai Ping Tower, you will never know this restaurant unless you heard of it.Due to the sudden cravings, we made a reservation in the morning and only sushi bar seats was left. Due to the sudden cravings, we made a reservation in the morning and only sushi bar seats was left. Honestly, the service was a little disappointed. Was it because our seats located in sushi bar and we are not the “priority” customer? We had the salad, prawns and cod fish...waited for nearly an hr before the main dish and fried rice comes along!!!!!!
There are four types of teppanyaki lunch set (for 1 person) starting from HK$300x. I ordered the “Take” set. Set includes: salad, prawn, cod fish, US prime beef, fried rice (sorry, forgot to take a photo), drink and ice cream.
Prawn and cod fish - with a tint of salt, it brings out the freshness
US prime beef - thinly sliced, sandwich in garlic slices and green onions..melts easily in my mouth ! Plenty of 芽菜 to balance out the meat.
Ended the lunch with coffee and 柚子 ice cream
