First off, we were completely neglected after we were seated. No one came to check on us, take our drink order, or introduce him/herself to us as our server until we summon one of them.
When we were having our food, they never checked on us to see how we like our food. They looked like they don't give a F about what their customers think of the food.
And when paid our bill, they didn't even say thank you. Neither did they say goodbye to us as we leave, its not like they were busy or anything, 4,5 of them were standing in the middle of the restaurant doing nothing but watching us leave. Isnt a smile and a good-bye a basic etiquette?
Food:
Oysters are plain and flavorless even we asked for the more flavored ones. It will be a shame for them to call themselves an oyster bar.
We also ordered the steamed octopus and scallop with guanciale as appetizers. They are just nothing special.
For entree, i had the slow cooked black cod. The fish is extremely soggy, soaking in a watery-ketchup-like broth.
There are plenty other places in hk who can deliver food with better quality and half the price.
I would not recommend this place for anyone. If you want oyster, go to the oyster bar in Hotel Sheraton for some serious business. For creativity, visit Bo innovation. For great food with real high quality, visit Caprice, Pierre, to name a few.
This is definitely an overpriced restauarant without up to par service.
