My friend and I went to this restaurant after reading some of the positive comments from Openrice.com. The atmosphere was pretty good there...quite dark..but romantic I guess. The offer was $328 (buy 1 get 1 free). We also ordered some drinks at $48 each. The menu selection was pretty good..the soups and salads were quite good. The menu selection was pretty good..the soups and salads were quite good. Although there were many choices for the main course...all portions were very small. If you go, you must order several main dishes at a time...otherwise the food may arrive very slowly.
Some of the staff were quite helpful, however, there was an extremely lazy and rude waitress. She kept approaching a certain table to talk to one of her friends (a customer at the time). Once or twice is ok..but for about the WHOLE night she did this. Each time she stopped at the table, she talked for about 5 mins. She left many people waiting for service. Once, I requested an menu order. She took the order and then, instead of placing the order, went back to her friend and talked for 5 minutes, and then placed the order. A second time, I asked for water, she never brought it (she went right back to her friend). 15 minutes later, the manager saw that my glass was empty and filled it.
I was fed up and asked for a comment card in which I commented that the waitress be fired or re-trained.
