Hi All,Thank you very much for getting me the "rice-box". After the last couple weeks of food review carefully described by our "好食记", I do feel an obligation now to document everything I eat (as long as Ju Ju is not cooking it). After the last couple weeks of food review carefully described by our "好食记", I do feel an obligation now to document everything I eat (as long as Ju Ju is not cooking it). So here goes on the Humble "five-meal-meat & egg with steam rice on sweet soy sauce" experience:
I was so hungry about the stringent workout at the gym that anything would have tasted fantastic as long as it is not raw.
At a glance the"five-meal-meat & egg with steam rice on sweet soy sauce and preserved-choi in something MSG soup looks good for $34 set. Very clean and hygienically presented.
The first thing I went for was the "preserved-choi in something MSG soup", expected to be a bit cool I "ding" it in the "may-ball-oven" and when I opened to taste it, I immediately feed it to the silk, it was really bad...it tasted like somebody had taken they dirty socks and boiled it in hot water then add preserved Choi in it with something that I can not tell and on top of that the dirty socks taste killed all the MSG in the soup. Sorry but the soup was very bad and very "sang".
The "rice-box" however was a pleasant surprised as I have no choice but to look forward to it. It was actually simple but very good.
I think it probably took at cook about a minute to make it... The eggs (2) was raw in the centre so I had to "ding" it, the "five-meal-meat" must have been a premium brand because it was delicious and there was plenty of it (3 slices). There was also a side dish of boil cabbages and all covered in light soy sauce which i added more after "dinging" it. All in all very nice lunch box but I would recommend it next time with out the "come-soup". 再再见...
