Although this restaurant shares the same name with Lee Garden (a fine Korean restaurant in Sheung Wan), it is a SCAM. We never had such bad Kalbi Jim (Braised Short Rib Soup) in our entire life! The Kalbi Jim was cold, and the soup tasted like OYSTER SAUCE WITH SUGAR! The soup was not "aqueous" at all. When I had a spoon of the "soup", I almost puked. There were only 4 pieces of meat inside as well. Not only that, normally the soup should come with a rice. It didnt! We had to pay $10 more for th

When I had a spoon of the "soup", I almost puked. There were only 4 pieces of meat inside as well. Not only that, normally the soup should come with a rice. It didnt! We had to pay $10 more for the rice. The "soup" costed $150 + $10 (rice). With the service charge we had to pay 176!
The service was terrible. During the lunch, there were no server came by. No one refilled our tea. We had to go get tea for ourselves. However, the tea was COLD.
When we were on our way out, we saw some Philipino/Indonesian women in the kitchen. No Korean Chef! No wonder the stew turned out to be OYSTER SAUCE! We also noticed a Openrice.com award at the entrance. How come? We cannot validate the authenticity of the award (certificate). We recommend someone at Openrice.com look into this matter. This restaurant is ruining Openrice.com's reputation!!
