This was my second time to Fish and Chick, on this occasion I ordered the crab croquettes and salad for starters, mains I upgraded to the barramundi fish and chips with drink a ginger lemon and honey tea. The drink came first and it was like instant booster, the intense ginger and lemon was exactly what I needed for this cold day, there wasn't much honey in the drink which is what I prefer. The next to come was the crab croquettes salad, you get two croquettes, the croquettes was crunchy and had a good amount of crab meat, and the salad was fresh and well dressed. And finally the fish and chips, the fish was a good size, had a good crunch, well seasoned and fish to batter ratio, and wasn't too oily. For the taste it was good, the meaty fish, batter and a small amount of tartar sauces is very similar to what you get in the U.K and was satisfying. As for the chip, this was a disappointment, I know that chip shop chips are rare in Hong Kong but the fries/chips that is used here is doesn't pair well with the fish and also the quantity of chips was on the small side. The taste would be 4/5 had it not been for the disappointing chips, saying that this is a place I will return to and enjoy the fish.
