First of all, the restaurant informed us that they could not give us the table at last minute (midnight before our lunch). We then requested them to book for the next day instead and they did mention to make it extra special . Well, they should let the guest know much earlier.Then for the appetiser, the Parma ham is aromatic and the melon is thinly sliced as well which is interesting.For the bruschetta, the marinate is fine with no fishy taste. For the steak, it is cooked to perfection (medium well), it contains some fat, but it’s not an issue.
For the dessert, we chose one dessert from the counter (mille-feuille: the puff is crispy and the cream is good) and dessert platter (2 cakes chosen by the staff: babà-misu which is a combination of babà & tiramisu, I didn’t find any alcohol inside but there is a hint of coffee, it is creative; the cake with a fish chocolate whereas is just so so, nothing special and not impressive). I would suggest future diner to choose by oneself instead.
When we asked the staff for the special treatment (see 1st para), they offered us to choose from Prosecco and Limoncello. The limoncello is serve cold which is refreshing. It is of high alcohol concentration that we couldn’t finish it.
In general, the meal is satisfying. The restaurant is located in a historical building and the decoration make you feel that u are in Italy. I would highly recommend this place! Grazie ;p
