Probably known as one of the best pizza places in Hong Kong, Piccolo actually has two branches covering the Hong Kong Island side, one in Kennedy Town and one in Tai Hang.

They feature a full menu of tantalizing Italian pizza and pasta, whilst we start by having a few impressive salad. Crispy kale with extra-crunchy chopped bacon dressed with a honey red wine vinaigrette; rocket salad with parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes and creamy buffalo mozzarella.

Coming to their signature pizza pancetta, it is signified by a soft cooked egg in the middle, with cheesy and tomatoey base, smoky pancetta over the excellent pizza crust.

There are also two new pizzas, where I especially love the sweet red onion on the pizza smokin speck and the pizza bolognese with a rich meat sauce and generous melted cheese.
