Visited this renowned Cantonese restaurant and my fellow diners were unimpressed from the start as all signature dishes were sold out. Service was fair considering the crowds. We ordered the lesser-known recommended dishes; the ox tail was tender and rich but too heavily seasoned such that it left a lasting thirst, the steamed cod was smooth and fresh but the flavor of the "fungi flowers" were lost in preparation, the stuffed whelk with Portuguese sauce was somewhat ordinary, the "royal" beef cu
All in all, perhaps we should give the place a second try with its gourmet dishes, as even with the credit card discount we considered $328 per head a bit overpriced for this meal without the too-popular items.
