The Nagoya uma-dare chicken was available last year but I did not try it because I am not keen on the sweet sauce it has on top of it.Anyway, decided to try it this year and it was surprisingly quite nice.It is fried chicken covered with sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds.The coating for the chicken was not the original secret recipe one, it was much lighter and not so heavy with the MSG that you could taste the Uma-dare sauce.The sauce for the chicken was not that sweet and there was a hint

It reminded me of the fried chicken in black vinegar sauce served at Ootoya.
If the chicken was not too dry, it would have been perfect
