白丸元味 Shiromaru Motoaji $68The first few times when i visited 一风堂, they only had few things on menu. After a year later, i found they have varieties of noodles. Havent mentioned teppan rice dish, rice bowl, snack, salad and dessert. As usual, i order my favorite 白丸元味 Shiromaru Motoaji (pork broth with lean meat slices). It is still as good as what i had tried a year ago... with right texture, salty but cant stop drinking broth... n the fun part is the self served side garnish like purple ginger,

Havent mentioned teppan rice dish, rice bowl, snack, salad and dessert. As usual, i order my favorite 白丸元味 Shiromaru Motoaji (pork broth with lean meat slices). It is still as good as what i had tried a year ago... with right texture, salty but cant stop drinking broth... n the fun part is the self served side garnish like purple ginger, seasoned pickle veggie, spiced bean sprout , garlic, n toasted sesame.
赤旨番茄 Tomato Tonkotsu Ramen $88
Apart from the safe option, we ordered a new limited supply one - 赤旨番茄 Tomato Tonkotsu Ramen. Waitstaff suggested us to try the soup first before mixing the spoon of red color paste. Without mixing it, I feel like i'm drinking tomato base meat soup. Once it's mixed, I feel like i'm drinking Borscht soup. Actually I should say it taste like sundried tomato infused with olive oil n a hint of pork broth. The biggest surprise is the two slices of toasted cheese on the side, I feel like i'm dipping Pão de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) into a Borscht soup. Great choice today, we're satisifed.
Japanese ramen broth is always salty, I always try to avoid drinking too much. But today I can't help, half of them is gone. yum!!
