Oddly empty after the renovation, the joint now offers Mendel's notorious bagel on weekends for breakfast.The bagel itself was indeed thick and perfectly toasted, and there was a lot of egg shoveled on liberally topped with two slices of crunchy but not completely dried out bacon. That's good because personally I hate dried out bacon that's too crispy.The portion was huge, almost couldn't finish my coffee after eating two halves.My recommendation is to try 2 different fillings and swap them with

My recommendation is to try 2 different fillings and swap them with a friend to keep things interesting!
Coffee isn't bad too, more on the nutty side but that's how I like it too.
