🐻#Beijing Laojia offers a really good lunch deal that my friend is vouchig for ($58 1 dish with drinks and a great dessert: small rice ball in daisy soup) so we are here to check out its dinner menu tonight.While it's easy for the duck to feel repetitive, we ordered two duck dishes that are vastly different but equally delicious. Garlic pork with rice flat noodles was a hit but there weren't enough meat to share among the eight of us.
Fried green pepper with pork stomach was great too even though I am too chicken to take a bite of the chilli pepper 🌶
Fried rice was definitely on the wet side, a bit disappointing. And the most disappointing dish was the yam leaf in soup. Pale in flavor, and the green seems old, not the fresh leaves I'm used to having. Won't be disappointed if you came here for the duck, but the other dishes seem to be a hit or miss. No free dessert at dinner.
