I have always wanted to try this Uji matcha and black sugar charcoal cake which meant I had to get the whole cake.Now they sell them in slices.I liked the colourful layers of soft cake with a bitter matcha aftertaste that was not too sweet.There were opaque Kanten jelly cubes in it.
