Pantry is a word that is always associated with workplace. For people who are working, they will always look forward to the moment where they could take a short break at a small corner of pantry to recharge themselves before heading back to the battlefield for the rest of the day. I suppose the owner wants to let his diners to have the same feeling when one's visits his cafe, to have a relaxed and cosy ambience. The owner takes pride in his own works, by the looks of his masterpieces. It offers specialties made only with the finest ingredients like imported flour, French butter and cream to pamper the palate of dessert lovers.
Shop was decorated in a very classic and pleasing theme. Two tables were placed directly outside their shop for those diners who prefer to spend their time off by watching the traffic zoom past.
They make use of the limited space available by displaying all their products on shelves, so that customers can see it clearly. They offer a wide range of products ranging from french pastries, bread, chocolate nuts, cookies, egg white series, signature egg custard mooncake, special occasions, wholesome healthy and drinks too.
Their menu only display those that are not available immediately off-shelf. They offer cake set for $58, a slice of cake & hot coffee / tea.
Tiramisu is one of the better ones that i have tasted. It was rich & creamy in flavour, with a slight taste of cocoa. I order a cup of lychee smoothies to replace coffee. It was very refreshing, tasted sour and sweet. There is even some jelly at the bottom of the cup.
At the cookies section, they offer several flavours, with samples for us to taste on it too. As some of them tasted really good, i decided to buy 3 packets of cookies home. Each packet cost $54, at a weight of 130g. Dark chocolate cookies - As it was dark chocolate, so it was not overly sweet yet retaining the strong chocolate smell. As it was not too buttery, thus it was easy on the stomach.
Almond chocolate cookies - As the chocolate content was not as strong as dark chocolate, the taste was not that bitter. With the addition of almond, it had the crunchy feel and equally good.
Palmier - As it was coated with sugar, the sugar level was just nice. The feel was crispy and soft on the inside.
