I have been here few times and mostly I ordered mussels as main. This time, I tried something new which I wasn't expected to be as good.I ordered the rich man's burger, fish and chips and garlic bread. Sounds pretty simple?Rich man's burger was quite stuffed. It sandwiched fried egg, bacon, caramelised onions, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and medium rare burger. Burger was cooked perfectly, juicy and in a certain thickness. Rich man's burger was quite stuffed. It sandwiched fried egg, bacon, caramelised onions, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and medium rare burger. Burger was cooked perfectly, juicy and in a certain thickness. Pairing with all the ingredients, it tasted pretty nice. Not as usual as other burgers. It was served with fries and mayo.
Fish and chips was a highlight. It came very hot. Battered was very crispy but not oily. Fish was just cooked and tasted fresh. Well seasoned. The side mashed peas and side salad were nicely seasoned and well balanced out the fried food of fish and chips. Good job.
Last but not least, garlic bread was just alright. The one I had last time was so nice that it was fresh and hot. Very garlicky and buttery while this time, toasts were slight brown and not as garlicky as before. Not hot enough.
It was quite surprising to try non-mussels food here. Will definitely come again and explore more.
