It's been a while!I used to go to this restaurant frequently that I had this VIP card many years ago that it has turned yellow.Veggie Family is a famous vegetarian restaurant that has been opened since 2001.The logo is slightly different and more modern and there is so much variety on the menu with a healthier less artificial twist.There is English on the menu which is helpful and the new seating is much more comfortable.Here was what I ordered:It was so good they had these noodles because I lov

Here was what I ordered:
It was so good they had these noodles because I love these noodles.The vegetarian version is so much healthier since it is not drenched in meat oils after steaming.
The Sichuan dish was delicious and flavourful especially the monkey head mushrooms which are so tasty and meaty in texture.
The fermented beancurd noodles were great but I would have loved the fermented beancurd to be stronger.
The vegetarian sharks fin looked a bit different from the picture but I love the beanshoots and pinenuts because the pinenuts gave it a lovely nutty taste while the beanshoots made the dish appetizing because the beanshoots were juicy.
I can't wait to come back again because there are so many other dishes I want to try and the new menu has so much to offer other than sweet and sour taro fish!!
