Persuaded by mom to try out some authentic Thai food. Never did I thought it was this good! Don't judge this store by its hygiene outlook. This is for the Thai commoners and everyone who hangs out here says the dishes remind them of Thailand locals. We got Tom yum soup with prawns (sm) and steamed mullet with limeTom yum soup ($45): I'm not much of a spicy person. You can try your luck and ask the tenant to lighten up the spice, but there is no guarantee that they will do it. In their perspective, they will keep the spiciness to the utmost authentic.
Steamed Mullet with lime ($98) : we forgot to request for a open-flame kit with this... it is 4 dollars more than the dish version. Very zesty. Ask the tenants if they have mullets in stock before you order this. This is my favourite. The sauces are not too spicy that covers the mullet, and the lime brought out the taste of the sauce seeped into the mullet. It doesn't smell or taste fishy at all. Take the lime slices and squeez the juices over the mullet for an extra zing.
I had to order a young coconut to drink because the tom yum was a killer for me...
Next time we visit here, we're going to get the lettuce-minced pork dish called 生菜包
