Opera house - another new Italian ristorante in wanchai, good location (Queen Rd near star st) and ambience (recommending 2nd floor - modern and spacious seatings). Tried almost all their signatures: pizza, pasta, risotto, steak and dessert. Food is authentic, although pizza which was supposed to be very good based on review, I did not find it special (not bad to be fair either), but the pasta and risotto are very well cooked and seasoned, especially the cherry tomato lobster chitarra pasta (off menu, special of the night), the texture of the chitarra pasta is amazing (more al dente and chewy than usual spaghetti), and the sauce is tasty and aromatic! - So good that it was finished before I had a chance to capture a photo. Food serving however was extremely slow on the day (waited at least hours for the pizza), but the chef came over and gave us a complimentary dessert platter as a courtesy (which was delicious). Overall 7/10, around HKD500 per pax (w/o wine), price is more on the high end but the lobster pasta is worth the visit! (I so wish I have taken a pix!)
