Not busy on a Tuesday evening so we pretty much sat down as soon as we walked in. Soup of the day was good, but the signature almond soup was even better! full of flavour and just the right amount, not boiling hot and delicious. The other starter of beef with cucumber was a mild disappointment, nothing bad but it fell victim to the non-descript Canto/Sichuan/northern style confusion cuisine. Next up was fried milk with scallops - very good indeed and very filling. We both loved it and yet

ambience not as quiet as expected, but service was reasonable
